Artist's Statement:
Forgetting the temporary boundaries between reality and the shape we give it.

Exalt the subjective nature of dreams—not so much so as to perfect an aesthetic ideal but to invent new relationships with matter.

Painting, writing, these are illuminating moments, a rendezvous with my life.

Even when we have the impression that all vocabularies have been tried, Cubism, Structuralism, Minimalism all schools of-ism, we are aware that within us exists a word, a fever (whether joy or anguish) that is determined to be expressed.

In the end, the artist’s work is to assist this birth, bringing about a reinterpretation of the world around her and within.
